The only minor thing to plan for is cord placement—I had to find a position to hide the black power cord. The cup holder grips well, and the side caddy is handy for remotes and small items. Overall it's innovative, well made, and genuinely useful. I've read other reviews but did not have the issues others did. I assembled the entire unit w/o the instructions. Assembly was very straight forward. Parts are strong and sturdy, tables made from very good wood. Tilt function and locking works fine, no problems. Only thing is I have a very high bed and it just clears when tilted.
