It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. The fan is very quiet, we are able to sleep with the fan on all night. We also have high ceilings and the fan still does a very good job of circulating the air even on the lowest setting.. Stephanie. I liked the fan much more than I thought I would. I just wanted a white fan that would fade away against a white ceiling, and it does that, but the ceiling medallion that I bought, unintentionally matched the design on the under part of the motor.
