We ordered the white unit for the large dog crate. The first delivery by Fed Ex arrived damaged and had to be re-ordered. The customer service representative said it would be to us by 6/26, it did not arrive until 6/30. Also the measurements of this unit are incorrect on the website. I called to report it but appears to still not be correct. The dog beds that we bought for it to meet the sizing, do not fit as the interior measurements are still off. The gate doors are bulging out in a couple of places which causes the doors to scrape when they slide from one end to the other, would prefer to have the corrected or doors replaced, if possible. However, the sliding barn door hardware is an issue — the track where the doors slide tends to fall out, which can be frustrating. Also, it’s not ideal for very small dogs. My 5 lb Chihuahua was able to escape, so I wouldn’t recommend it for tiny breeds unless you plan to reinforce it. Aside from those concerns, it’s an attractive and functional piece.. Anonymous. It took a bit long, and the instructions for assembling the crate weren’t very clear. But in the end, the result is great, and it looks sturdy. On top, there’s a wide panel that also fits a corner spot for the cat, plus the dog’s and the cat’s things. I really do love everything about this crate (so far). That is to say, I love the way it looks. I spent days looking at different furniture crates and had an aha moment when I found this one online. It was the perfect vibe for the aesthetic of my home. When it arrived I unpacked everything and inventoried all of the parts. Check. Then I read through the directions and it said it would take two people an hour to put it together. Uncheck. My dad and mom both came over to help. My dad is a carpenter and builder. It took us five hours and a lot of curse words to put it together. Was it worth it? At the time, no. But now that it's together, I'm glad we persevered. It really is a nice, sturdy piece. As for functionality? We'll see. I'm bringing an eight-week-old puppy home in a few weeks and imagine things will be pretty mild at first. The real test will be in a few months to see if the gates hold up. They aren't not sturdy, but they're also not affirmingly solid. The crate is nice enough, but the purchase experience was awful. The package arrived quickly, but it was missing the top part of the crate. I contacted Wayfair, who had me contact the manufacturer. First I was told the missing part would ship in three days, then I was told they couldn't find the missing part and I should wait until they did and that I might not hear from them for a while. So I threatened to return the whole thing and buy another crate from somewhere else. Then Wayfair got involved and I finally got the missing piece in another week and a half.
