This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. It’s a valve. It works. Please make sure your plumber uses COPPER throughout. My plumber used PEX and I believe the water pressure has been negatively affected. Great improvement in color & style over previous range hood. Luv the up dated styling. Bottom of cabinet isn't flush so couldn't use easy brackets. Two person install was easy & quick, though. Airflow is strong which explains an expected loud noise level, in high position. Fits great below cabinet. Nice profile. Will be using unducted & want to add charcoal filters for the occasional sautéing & broiler use. The LED lights are bright & make my stove top shine nicely - like showroom quality. Beautiful drain for a beautiful bathtub...but, it is unfortunate it does not come standard with the $4500 bathtub. Not Wayfair's fault....the manufacturer makes you pay for it separately.
