I am pleasantly surprised and delighted by this new computer desk. I didn't realize that it is nearly all metal, with the exception of the top. As a result, it is incredibly strong and solid. Even the top surface looks and feels like solid wood. Assembly was relatively easy, but does require a bit of time and patience. Having a second person for all of the assembly would have sped my process. Finally a decent-good quality product from China, with all the parts included, and even legible assembly instructions. I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. Very happy with this desk—it was a great purchase. The wood finish looks beautiful in person and gives a warm, high-quality feel that makes my workspace look much more put together. I also really liked the L-shape design and the drawers; it gives me plenty of room to work while keeping everything within reach. Assembly was a bit challenging but I found an assembly YouTube video which helped a lot and made things much clearer. I was able to assemble it completely on my own. The table came well-packaged. Unfortunately, I had several issues upon opening it and during assembly. The middle panel had a chip in the veneer, and the plastic cord holder had a broken corner both while still in the box. Several of the screws were very difficult to put in due to excess material in the threads or because the hex screw tool didn’t fit in the screw head. One of the holes for attaching the frame to the top didn’t match up, either. When building the top, the cam locks damaged the surrounding particleboard when trying to tighten them.
