I've had my new washer for two weeks now, and so far it has been working great , clothes comes out very clean. I orderd my dryer from the LG web site. I was anxious because I wasnt sure how smooth it would go. As it turned out- evrything went well, even when I needed to change the delivery and installation date. Also, I researched and learned that I got a better price ordering directly from LG. I had a complicated install with it being a stacked unit and installed in a smaller, yet adaquate laundry closet. The installers were excellent and gained my full confidence. This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes. The LG dehumidifier works quite well. It's modern-looking, has a customizable humidity setting and a sensor that turns off the unit once the desired humidity level has been reached. It also senses when the bucket is full and when to clean the filter which is very easy to do. I purchased a PuriCare dehumidifier nearly three years ago and it is working beautifully. Our previously damp basement is now dry and comfortable. I have the dehumidifier drain into our sump pump basin so I don't have to empty the water bucket. It's very low maintenance. I just clean the air filter a couple of times during the summer and that's it. The PuriCare dehumidifier I just purchased this month is the second one I have bought. I got it for my son as a gift.
