I really love the way this looks once assembled. Assembly was fairly straightforward just a bit tedious. The instructions could be better in particular the illustrations. The only negative I have is that mine have a gap between them. I adjusted the foot pegs on each to make sure they were balance and that is what I got. I really like this desk. I think its great. However, I only recommended it for those ready for the technical and physical challenges and have the skills, time, and patience for assembling things like this. The instructions describe the general order of assembly and are insufficient on certain details. It comes in five boxes, so be sure to do a complete inventory before starting. I spent more than 24 hours (with break times) for unpacking, inventory, and assembly, including getting the drawers and doors operating smoothly to running, wrapping, and placement of power, video, and data cables so that they are just right. Wow — what a great, huge executive desk! Real wood, too! I was looking for a good-quality real wood desk under $1,000, and it was hard to find one.
