I absolutely love this pergola kit to do your own over a patio space, but, the instructions in giving one any kind of direction on how long it takes and really showing someone what they have to do were so, so poor. Said it would take a half hour. How about a couple of hours just to figure out how long the would needs to be then a day and a half to actually finish it. Not everyone is going to have a stone patio already in place so we will take some time away for that portion. We used redwood 4 x 4’s and had to remove the stones already in place and we took deck blocks and made it so they went upside down and placed them in the three holes we had removed the stones from so we could drill and place the hardware on the deck blocks to make them secure. The one thing that we found when trying to attach them into concrete there is not enough room to attach your hardware to it. So you have to drill your hole with a concrete 716th drill bit which also not mentioned so we had to buy a couple sizes till we had that figured out and then the picture shows us putting it into the metal piece and then hammering it into the wholes where it expands and holds it in place like a milky screw does in drywall. The other thing was how easily the screw heads would just snap off when you started screwing them into the wood. They give you plenty of hardware but we still had to go buy more as that was a huge issue so many broke and found no instructions on where to really start placement of pieces. We had to take sections apart just to attach a piece that was already in place to have the 4 x 4. If my daughter in law wasn’t good at figuring this out I might be on it for a few months, she did a beautiful job and it looks amazing and I can’t wait to put up lights next to give the ambiance I’m looking for. Do better with instructions and better hardware . An amateur would get so frustrated trying to get those screws into the cement to make it secure we did a lot of “You tube videos to get it done. I chose the Royal Shade Triangle Shade Sail with Hardware Kit & Rope in the 16 ft. x 16 ft. x 16 ft. size in beige, and it’s been a great addition to my outdoor space. I appreciate that it comes with the hardware needed for installation. The galvanized ropes feel sturdy, and the latches and carabiners made setup easier. The material itself looks strong and well-stitched. It provides good shade and helps keep the area underneath cooler. It doesn’t feel too hot sitting under it. I had some trouble getting it positioned just right and fully straight during installation, but once it was set up, it looks great. I haven’t experienced rain yet, so I can’t speak to water resistance. Overall, I’m happy with it and looking forward to enjoying more time outside with the added shade.. Rosa. San Diego. I think the quality of the actual product is very good. Quality fabric and stitching. The problem is I ordered a beige shade and received a clearly raincoat yellow one. As bright yellow doesnt match with any of the deck decor, this shade cannot be used. I ordered this through the tried true program so I am unable to exchange it. Look no further! This contemporary, triangle-shaped, black finish, framed wall mirror would look great above the couch, in the bedroom, or as an accent piece between two windows! This mirror can hang vertically. The mirror is damp and listed for use in a restroom but is not recommended for use outdoors.
