I really like these fixtures, but wanted to add one word of caution. Because the decorative links are STEMS rather than chains, "adjusting the length" means using 1 or 2 stems. You are not given that much flexibility in the length. This was hard for us, because we found out that 1 stem made it too high and 2 stems made it too low. (We had a very creative electrician who came up with a solution using brass colored links from another fixture we had ordered. Otherwise, we would have had to return this fixture).. Yuko. I fell in love with this light as we designed and renovated the first floor of a clients house. Our client was surprising particular about his dining room light. After presenting our client with several more options, he selected this fixture in black. He liked the lines of the fixture with his curved, gently swooping top. He liked that it didn't have any wood detailing. And He loved the interior contrasting color. I really like the look of the light fixture. It came with a few different rods so you can hang it to the length that works for you. Installation wasn't too bad. However it comes with a diffuser shade that does not fit. See pictures. It is way too small, doesn't rest on the tabs meant to hold it up, and therefore wobbles and is uneven and looks awful. Even if it had been big enough I hate the look of it, prefer frosted acrylic for a diffuser shade. I returned the first purchase and bought a second, and it also had the incorrect diffuser shade, so definitely an issue with the factory and not a one-off.
