I like to start a review with the packaging. So, it came in a box, very well cared for inside, fragile label on all sides, and it arrived via FedEx in perfect condition. Good job, Fedex!! Upon assembly I noticed it was very straight forward (mechanical mind not necessary), the instructions were clear and written in my language. Looking at this beautiful piece fully assembled made me feel almost awe struck, with its glowing copper eagle, and brass cardinal directions. Solid piece! I've capped the cupola I'm building with it and it made it even more pretty! The only downside that I could find us that it does not come with the mount. Not really a downside though and if I had read the description better I would've known that before the purchase. You will love this piece. Functionally I think this frost shield will work, though I wish it had flaps to cover the mirrors as well like Ive seen on some other models. I hate the logo across the front but it doesnt affect functionality. The magnets are well encased so they dont scratch the paint on my car, and installation (once I figured out the instructions--there are no instructions for the hooks, and the ones for the top are exactly ok) is easy and will work for many different windshield sizes. Its July so I will have to wait a while for a frostsnow to see how it works, but Ive used plastic sheeting with a similar footprint before and its worked so I cant imagine that it wont.. Eileen.
