Have it up for the second season. Good quality but should be made stronger where poles are attached. Had to put gorilla tape over the tares. update - this past summer it tore so much it has to be replaced. Someone should design these with stronger fabric. Update july 2024. These tiles will add beauty, sound dampening, and insulation

First off, as other people have said, these tiles are like the Styrofoam plates that I grew up using. I was a little nervous about that. Make sure you use a glue that is made for adhering foam. They went up easy. Youre going to have to paint because I could see the glue through the Styrofoam after I put them up. Caulk the seams with a paintable acrylic caulk. Acrylic or latex water-based paint is recommended. I used latex. I was able to do all of the paint with a 38 nap and cover everything except the seams, which I used a brush. I went light on the first coat to get it covered and prep for the second coat. Im pretty happy with the results. I received the tiles about 24 hours ago and have been able to get my 6x10 bathroom through the first coat of paint since then. Overall, a pretty fast and easy project.. Lisa. Iowa. Sat Jun 08 2024
