Amazing...I grappled with buying these columns for 2 years, because of the non-refundable policy, so I had to be sure. I have a small porch so I knew I couldnt get the columns to wide or the proportions would look odd. So I used makeshift cardboard and the like to determine what to buy...I made the best decision with the 5.63 width columns they look amazing. My contractor bought 5 wood post from our local big box store and used brackets to install them on the porch. He used his nail gun to fasten each wrap to the wood post, he said it was rather simple to install. Next he caulked all the small nail gun holes and painted ( per instructions for winter protection) looks amazing. Beautiful fan. Quiet. Fully variable fan speed and light. There is a control box that they want you to bury up in the ceiling control box. Would not fit so we pushed the wires up inside and the control box fit in the cowl. All good, just not per instructions. Couldn’t be happier. And I used the glass from my old fan light.. Donna New.
