Time will tell how this guy holds up! Assembly was a little bit of a pain, do note that you have to take tons of screws OUT upon unpacking. I though I had missing pieces. The shipping box makes it almost impossible to repack once you unpack it, so make sure you want it! Some of the panels were bent, but upon installing I realized it didn't matter, the frame aligns them and it's virtually unnoticeable. Other than that, the item feels really well made and sturdy once all together. It isn't meant to be water proof, only water resistant. It's very nice looking, and the light color is beautiful. These blinds seem very well made. I love that you can see through them but still have the shade where you need it. Directions are pretty vague, picture only. It would’ve been nice to have have measurements of where to install brackets. Also upon installation, we did discover that the blinds themselves only measure 94” not the 96” as stated. This was a great buy. The instructions were very helpful, use the app as well. I am mechanically and electrically savvy and this took me 9 hours start to finish including electrical work. Some of the louvers arrived with minor factory paint scratches. I reached out to Mirador for touch-up paint, but they don’t offer any.
