This reinforcement lock is very good quality. It was very easy to install, although I measured wrong the first time and had to move it. This black patio door handle is a surface with hook latch style and is keyed. Often found on older style patio doors, it is mounted on the door's inside frame and the hook latch engages the keeper mounted on the jamb. It has a 2-1/8 inch high extruded aluminum inside handle with an anti-lift feature on the hook latch. The mounting holes are 4-15/16 inch apart. The outside handle is a low profile extruded pull with cylinder.

The thin bar that is connected to the locking cylinder snapped after using the lock two times. The lock now only locks from the inside and cannot be unlocked with the key. I would recommend another product that is a bit stronger and less likely to break so fast.. Bryan. Plano, TX. Fri Oct 04 2024
