I bought these tiles to put over my existing mosaic backsplash. It was too costly to rip out and install new, real tiles. Additionally, this is a great way for me to experiment with colors to see how I would like a different pattern/color long term if and when I choose to actually go through the replacement. This took a little bit more time then I expected but overall, it went well and I liked the fact that I could use regular scissors or utility knife to cut the times. The corners were a little challenging but doable. I really like the way they look. You can see in some spots the unevenness of the existing tiles but the variation in the color pattern helps hide this. I chose the green with the existing Fantasy Brown granite.. Christina M.. Ohio. I added addition bracket to help secure the weight as it is not light. Be sure to consider that you need to plumb in venting that is at least 10" in diameter to carry the 900 cfm. We installed it in a basement utility room ceiling containing our washer/dryer. It maybe reduced the chill (this is Minnnesota in winter!), but I can't say it feels warm, however we adjust the temperature. Maybe it would work better if it was closer to the floor? The Panasonic WhisperLine fans are probably the best there is. Very quiet, easy to install. Wayfair had the lowest price. I used the regular ceiling mounts in two bathrooms and a closet. I used this inline fan, mounted in the attic, for exhausting the toaster and microwave ovens (they were mounted a little far from the range exhaust. Strongly recommend using timers.
