We really like this bed! It seems pretty sturdy. It took us about a 2 hours to put it together. I was really impressed with the fabric provided for the canopy—it has a nice weight to it drapes beautifully. The slats on the bed are supportive enough to hold a mattress without a box spring or board. The bed is made of real wood that has been painted, so there are superficial imperfections here and there. However, we are happy with how the bed looks despite these small flaws. My three year old daughter helped pick out this bed for herself, and she was so excited to see it put together. My daughter loves it. It did take the assemblers a while to put it up, they did well it was much needed. A lot of screws. I also did notice some chipped pieces of wood as well. This recliner came really fast. It comes in one huge box and there’s minimal assembly. You put the back on and push into place. There’s 2 side pieces that go on the back as well. Then you screw the handle on. They give you an Allen key to screw the handle on and it’s big and awkward and very frustrating to do. I just used my little hand drill. The leather is a true chocolate, brown, glossy soft and supple beautifully made aesthetically pleasing looks very modernized and the silver long handle complements it. The back is very thick and flush, which is nice. I am 5ft 4 and I have a ton of room on this chair in my feet. Don’t even touch the ground. The only thing that I don’t like is how low the handle is again I’m small and petite and I can barely reach the handle. I have to lean over the chair. Other than that, I have no issues.
