Super solid, heavy well made metal. No plastics like others. Super stylish..The handles streak a little when you wash/wipe them down but well worth a very quick wipe with a cloth or paper towel. Moved into a new place and realized the single towel bar (one in each bathroom) wasn't going to be enough for us or for our guests, so we replaced them with these double towel bars. It was an easy replacement in place of the single towel bars.
