The thermometer gives a consistent and accurate reading everytime. On the back it has a neat little guide for different meats with recommended temps, which is great for new cooks or even kids to learn proper cooking. It's waterproof and has a cool locking function to hold the fold out reader in place. The thermometer comes on as soon as you flip down the reader and takes about 1-2 minutes to produce accurate readings. The screen has a feature where no matter which direction your holding it, it flips the numbers making it easier to read and the numbers light up. This is the best!!! I’ve never felt so confidently clean leaving the restroom. The remote is easy to use once you learn the symbols and it adjusts the heat of the seat, heat of the water and the distance that the cleaning and drying wands come out to get a personalized experience. Plus you can adjust the water stream to go full pressure or go a little easier, depending on your needs. The dryer works well and I love the little odorizer that seems to work really well too. We got a longer seat and a shorter seat version (both sold here). The longer seat is about the size of a regular toilet seat and the regular seat size feels more like a kids sized seat, so I recommend the longer seat regardless of the size of your toilet bowl..
