This replacement window kit is for portable air conditioners. The kit includes an exhaust hose of 5 inches in diameter, hose outlet connector, window panel hose connector and 3 window panels. This window kit does not include the existing hose inlet adaptor which was provided with the portable air conditioner unit. Universal compatibility: The exhaust hose fits most portable air conditioner models. The hose is 5 inches in diameter and the length can be adjusted from 15 inches up to 5 feet. it will be necessary for you to verify that the 5 inch diameter exhaust hose will fit your unit exhaust. Only the hose outlet adaptor is included. The window bracket is adjustable fitting all horizontal and vertical windows from 20-inches to 38-inches wide. It is not suitable for casement windows.

I am so excited for this mini split unit. Getting a new central air conditioner is just not in the cards right now. This is a very affordable price for the amount of ac and heat that you are getting. Things of note, we had to buy a specialty drill bit to be able to install the units properly. We live in a brick house and needed to be able to drill through the brick. The lines that connect from outside to inside need about a 2 inch diameter hole to pass through. We also decided to buy a rack so that we could hang the main condenser above the ground. We were not able to install this by ourselves and had to call for reinforcements via an HVAC guy. Once everything is finished being installed I will update with the finished product! UPDATE: like others have posted, you will need a special HVAC vacuum to start the unit. You will also need special wire and a 220 outlet to connect to.
