Replaced an older downdraft system from the 90s, this unit was best for me because beneath the countertop, the motor can be movedpositioned either in front of or behind the unit. We got a range hood for our outside grill it took time to install because my husband built a wood box to attach it to our roof.it works great because now when we use the grill all the smoke doesn’t stay in the area and we are able to eat sitting around the grill.
