The 21.3 inch red & silver chicken feeder is awesome! As always, the shipping from Wayfair is fast, fast, fast! This chicken feeder arrived fast, well packaged and had assembly instructions included. I like the overall design of this chicken feeder and the fact that it has a handle on top for easy transport, caps on the feeder ports to secure the feed overnight, and it's taller than most chicken feeders with it's long slender metal legs. With that said, I gave this feeder 4 stars instead of 5 because after filling it to capacity it became somewhat 'top heavy' with those long slender metal legs. My husband beefed the legs up to prevent the feeder from toppling over - which really made a difference. It's still a great feeder and I would recommend it. You can also use this screen to make crafts. This wire netting is stronger and thicker than other similar product in the market. Our chicken wire fencing is made of anti-rust material with paint baking technology. It is strong and durable, and not easy to break. Other product is 0.6mm thickness. Ours is 1.7mm thickness.

This is a cute item, for sure, but the price is too high for the level of quality. Silo top was misshapen and would not attach without adjustments, and the holes in the legs were not large enough to allow the bolts to pass through for assembly. I ended up needing to drill larger holes on each leg or there would have been no way to actually attach them. I put this box in the coop so I did not have to protect it from the elements. I did put a piece of plastic on the top because they often roost on it. Havent decided where to set this up for the girls yet. Took a while to set up with one person, but did just fine (after realizing I had to disassemble a couple pieces backwards...oops). Definitely use the protective gloves, edges are very sharp. Arrived banged up and dented, but with some determination and bending while assembling, it didnt make a noticeable difference. The protective metal tray to retrieve the eggs is odd, perhaps need hinges vs screws But I just left them a bit loose to openshut easily. Also, use a regular screwdriver. Recommend this product!.
