This Belgian jacquard tapestry, Bayeux Mont St. Michael, is an extract of the queen Mathilde's tapestry. The original some 230 feet long, is in the Bayeux museum in Normandy. It describes how England was conquered by Normans. Also known as L'Embarquement. Here Duke William and his army come to the Mount of Michael. This piece adds an air of sophistication as it displays one of the histories most historical moments.

No Mat, Wrapped Canvas, 40" H x 60" W x 1.5" D

Would agree with other reviewers that the print is a bit dark. For example, a lot of the details on the boat are so dark they are lost. I was not impressed with the pallet wood the canvas was stretched on, it seemed like it was seconds in terms of quality.
