They are sticky, but for the edge, you can use some contact glue on the underlayer to enhance it. I researched many different floor brands (big box stores and online) and got tons of samples. My local flooring store gave me some really big samples to take home for a few days to view in various lighting. I was stuck between the Mannington nougat and praline.
