I fell in love with this onsight. I love egyptian art decor. I finally purchased it. When it finally arrived it was damaged but Wayfair made things right. I would suggest when packaging and shipping items like this to surround it with styfoam and bubble wrap and then put in the box. This is an awesome rattlesnake. It looks like a real live snake that was covered with resin to dry. Put side by side, the only way one could tell the difference would be when the real live one moves. Size is accurate, coloring is accurate, shape is accurate. We bought this statue for our desert landscape backyard and it fits perfectly with the cactus’, coyote, bobcat, wild boar, donkey’s, skunk, rabbits, lights and rocks. Looks natural. This is definitely NOT a toy. It is not bendable or shapeable. It is not a cute snake. It is a real representation of a live rattlesnake getting ready to bite (I know because I’ve seen several up close and personal). It seems fairly tough, but I would not grab it and toss it around.
