This unit works great! It heats up quickly and the steam output is consistent. The only thing I would change is a gauge on the water tank so you can see how much water is in the reservoir. A professional steamer is only as good as its components. To prevent mineral build-up, the most important part is the heating element and for this, use the 1300W brass heating element. For safety, include a wrap-a-round housing that prevents the bottle from falling off. Uses a metalhead that gets 20% hotter than a PVC head for taking care of tough wrinkles or to act as an iron.

It's lovely material, but the install was initially pretty (conceptually) tough. Screwed up with the adhesive and had to order another piece of this. The main thing that saved the final install was using a (cordless) nailer, which made it a lot easier. If you don't have one, recommend to borrow one from a friend (hopefully you already have one). If you don't use a nailer, try to find the least obtrusive finish nails / use a precision finish tool (not sure what it is called but it's a little thing you use with a hammer to push the nail heads deeper, but not so that you dent the moulding) to submerge the nail heads. When you paint this, also recommend to start with the little domes and really work around them so paint does not pool. Finish the rest of the paint job with swipes in parallel to the length of the 'board'. I ended up using four coats of paint...it was worth it. Your mileage may vary!
