I love this door. We paid 600 for installation. We were a little disappointed because I thought the glass would let in a little light. Our previous door bought on my light but no privacy. The door has two locks one automatically locks. The other is locked by a key. If you are looking for an aesthetically pleasing door to update your home buy it. ....Update this door is steel so it expand and contracts according to the weather. It cold now so it's hard to put the key in the door and the automatic lock does not lock, so you have to use your key to make sure it locks. There is also a space where cold come to the house. This door is absolutely gorgeous! This picture translates as a bit lighter than the actual color which is more a dark walnut with a hint of redwood. The wood and windows are very high quality. It did not come with the lock hole, but no problem there. It even came with markers to fill in any holes or hide imperfections. Creative Entryways having more than 85 cumulative years of experience building, designing, and engineering wood doors are excited to introduce three very important features. Our doors have been tested and approved to meet a Design Pressure (DP) rating of 45. In order to qualify for a DP 45 rating, our doors were subjected to extreme testing conditions that simulate hurricane-force winds up to 150 mph. Our doors also qualify for TDI (Texas Department of Insurance). Door Jamb is constructed of a paintable hard polymer shell with an interior close cellular structure that prevents water absorption while offering 2 times the screw holding strength than wood. Prefinished at our factory allows us to finish all edges of the panels, rails, and styles prior to assembly of the doors. This is extremely important for the long life of the doors, minimizing panel issues. Our finish is a 9-step oil-based polyurethane process.
