It's worked in all kinds of weather from snow to rain to heat as well. The motion sensor seems to work as it should too but I just have it set to just come on when the sun goes down. Having just 1 doesn't really seem too ideal however and we don't have a sidewalk to light up either so we just have it at the step up to our front porch.
