This set was the perfect addition to our backyard furniture. While it takes a bit of effort to put it together, the chairs are very comfortable even without the cushions. The color of the set is a bit darker than pictured. It is gorgeous. The chairs don’t all fit underneath the table, especially with an umbrella base. However, that doesn’t bother us one bit. I ordered these chairs for my small screened in porch and they are exactly what I was searching for. They match the table perfectly and they blend well with the couch and chair of a different wood. The square table that was advertised with the chairs was too big for my cramped area. These chairs are super sturdy. My husband is 6'2" (a big boy) and he finds them comfortable.
