Someone else less handy would have had a hard time on some of the chairs. But once together they sat and stacked great! These beautiful chairs (in Vintage Tekwood) arrived carefully packaged and fully assembled. (The large carton is on the heavy side.) They chairs are light weight and stack easily, but they are very sturdily constructed. The chair seats are very comfortable as is and even more so with cushions -- the seats accommodate my existing cushions. The chair backs are a bit more upright than I had hoped, but they will be perfect for dining. If you are seeking chairs for reading / lounging, you might want something with a bit more slant or recline to the back. I also bought the 47" dining table (in Vintage Tekwood) to go with these chairs. The set was scheduled to be delivered on Monday, but arrived on Friday. I am a very happy customer. Natural Teak

Classic is inspired by the English garden; elegant, charming, and comfortable. Rooted in traditional English design, Classic complements any setting.

The shorea wood is dense and finishes beautifully with light sanding and a couple of coats of Watco Teak Oil. I will update this after they experience a Houston summer. The chairs are very comfortable although the backs are straight. Assembly was straightforward. However, four holes in the sides that the seat screw into were not predrilled as they were supposed to be. It probably doesn't matter since the seat is heavy and cradled by the other pieces but I drilled the holes and attached the seat anyway for extra stability. Also, I laughed when I saw the 100 grit sandpaper they provide: one square inch! But okay, you need to buy finishing supplies anyway and it's cheap. Enjoy! I wish they made a glider bench.. Jonathan.
