I searched carefully for a trashcan that would both look good in the kitchen and be the right size for a small household (1- 2 people). This one is perfect. I chose platinum because I didn’t want it to be too shiny. It’s tall enough (26 inches) to hold a 13 gal., tall kitchen trash bag, but narrow enough (11.5 inch diameter) that I can still open my cabinets. (See photos.) The capacity is only 8 gallons, but if the bag has a drawstring, it’s easy to make a 13-gal. gal bag fit well. Have had this for about a month now and has been used heavily with 2-3 bags of trash a day with my large family. I absolutely love this garbage can! As you can see it looks so good in my kitchen. The beige matte color matches everything in my kitchen. Looks very modern and classy.
