Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. Love this as an accent to the main wall in my new shower. Tile guy said it was HARD to work with because it’s very thin. So the glue filled the grout lines. Not SO HORRIBLE if you choose glue colored grout. But I wanted black, so he had to go through each piece and make sure there was room for the grout. Not sure I’d buy again. I hope I will be able to edit this post and share pictures of the finished project next month! I absolutely adore these tiles. They’re stunning! The deep green color has the perfect level of character and variation it’s just perfect. I would have given it a 5-star rating, but the way they were packed was quite disappointing. Instead of using a piece of paper or something to separate the layers of tiles, they used this strange dried gluestrip. It probably would have been helpful, but it wasn’t applied to the highest ridge of the tiles, resulting in some scuff marks on the outer edges. I’m sure they won’t be noticeable to anyone else, but I notice EVERYTHING (it’s a curse). Overall, I’m extremely happy with my purchase at this point prior to installation. The tiles are simply beautiful. I did receive one box of broken tiles, but Wayfair was fantastic. They sent me a replacement box right away and didn’t make me return the broken ones.
