This flooring is perfect for the entry area of our house. Initially I was skeptical about ordering 'vinyl' type flooring - we had just put in new hardwood floors (acacia) which is pretty 'stout' and I didn't want something flimsy tying into it especially in a high traffic area. This Engineered Tile is definitely not flimsy, more like slate. I use a wood stove as my primary heat, so this entry sees a lot of heavy traffic and this tile handles it. I would buy it again.. African Mahogany Engineered Hardwood Flooring has a dark red tone, medium gloss, and smooth finish. This product is perfect for homes with light to medium traffic.

This is the floor of my dreams. I am so happy. First of all, it looks just like the product page photo. The sample I ordered was darker, had little or no red tones, just sort of flat looking. The customer photos are what convinced me to take a chance and I am so glad I did. The finish is smooth and glossy, the red tones gleam. It is so elegant. I LOVE it! Update: 11 months later, I still love this flooring. Maintenance has required a learning curve. It does show dirt and dust quite a bit and my cats leave little paw prints everywhere so it needs to be cleaned a few times a week, which I don't love. I discovered the best way to clean it is with a dish soap and water solution (a few drops of dish soap to about a quart of water) sprayed on a microfiber mop pad and not directly on the floor. this is a traditional glue-down LVT floor that is waterproof, kid and pet-friendly, and easy to clean and maintain. Because this is glued to your subfloor, it is perfect when you don't want transition strips from room to room, making it a great option for homes with large spaces or special needs.

Picture doesnt do it justice. This tile is beautiful and looks very high end. The surface has a nice texture to it and not that cheap glossy stuff. Mannington also has grout specific to their products as well as a sealer. You can lay it down with or without grout. We are doing without. I could not find any pictures online of what it would look like not using grout so once our contractor installs Ill take another pic and post it. We chose the flex line because we have an old house and there is a hump in the floor from the structural wall underneath. Best decision I ever made. These look like an odd choice but they are absolutely gorgeous. My mom thought I was crazy for ordering samples of a few of some of the colors, but even she loved them when they came in. There was no other option once we saw them in person. It’s cheap to order a sample. Just do it! The colors are gorgeous!!!! I didn’t do a pattern like they have on some of their photos. The colors are so rich that they don’t need the added drama of a pattern. I got the dark red color and installed it in my still unfinished kitchen. I’ve attached a photo of that. But I also got the light blue and I love it even more! I’m installing that in my bathroom next week. I’ll post pictures of that too if I remember. I would do every room in my house a different color if I had the money to do it. Self install was super easy, I’d never done it before. Gorgeous. Gorgeous. Gorgeous!
