I only give 4 stars because the natural finish that I chose had no glaze on it at all. The picture with all the color selections shows an antique glaze. The fountain works perfect! Easy to assemble, but takes 2-3 men to put together because it’s heavy. Very pleased with the fountain. Just wish it had the glaze, but Wayfair helped make it satisfactory. Would give 5 stars except for the glaze issue. Has a soothing sound. Water does have to be refilled daily because of the splashing. I turned the motor down so we will see if that helps.. Debbie. Well... I like it and keeping it, love the amount of water it holds, but... disappointed that I was told it was separate base and top and instead it's one piece, which makes it harder to dump and clean, and also heavier to move. And I guess I should have realized the nice leaf pattern on the inside doesn't show when filled with water, ah well. Also, looking at color samples they show "fluted", but base is more like a woodgrain. Ideally, a fountain should be stored indoors in the winter away from the elements. However, if a fountain bowl must be left outside, remove all pumps, rubber stoppers, drain pipes, finials, and small components, and cover the top with burlap or any absorbent material (old blanket/towel) and then wrapped with dark plastic, making sure that water does not accumulate in the basin and freeze. Fountain pumps, finials, and other small components should be stored indoors.
