The listing says it can fasten onto any railing under 3.7" thick, but the clamps are only adjustable between 2.75" and 4.5", so it wasn't secure on my 1.7" balcony ledge. Also, while the design is fairly well thought out in most respects, the manufacturing of the actual parts does not rise to the level I would expect for the price. Some of the knobs are threaded imperfectly and are almost impossible to adjust, while others work as expected. Decent set of saw horses. They are reasonably sturdy while still being lightweight, and easy to setup and take down. They come with clamps that mount on top as well.
