Packaging 1010 very well packed it even came with a white gloves and instructions in a fancy envelope. Color 1010exact as photo both are an identical match to each other. Note that the lamp shade is a pure white. I specifically choose this for the 3 way however it does not work on either. These are really nice. I found it hard to find exactly what I needed, and this was as close as I could get. Even though I love them, I feel they are a bit large for a nightstand.
