Adding more pics after I used a black sharpie on all the grout. Black grout is more like cement color. It made a huge difference to me. The other looked all washed out. I attached a couple pics of my backsplash to show the before and after of me professional sharpie touch-up. Backsplash is also from Wayfair. It will not be installed for a few weeks, so I can add that picture later. I bought this for a fireplace surround. I expected it to be a bit wider, but that was my issue. It clearly shows the size. Typical subway is a bit wider. I liked the bit of variation. I think it will look even better with the black grout I plan to use. The other is what I am planning for my backsplash. That will also be black grout and also from Wayfair. I do not know how they packed so much bubble wrap in the box. Not one tile arrived damaged. If it had, it would not have been for lack of trying. It is tile, so I can see how it could still get broken. I am happy it did not! I just placed my order for the remaining tiles. I had to order a box to really guage. It’s good stuff! Love the color and finish, and as mosaic tiles go, it’s a very easy install. Being porcelain, it’s very hard and durable, and perhaps best of all, you can use an orbital sander to remove thinset and grout without damaging the finish—huge time saver! Just one critical thing to know in advance: these are spaced at 4mm, and you’ll have to search hard to find 4mm spacers. 3/16 is too wide, 1/8 is too skinny. On the upside, if things start looking a wee bit out of alignment, you can use those 3/16 and 1/8 spacers (very selectively) to cheat a little, with no discernible impact to aesthetics.. Ryan. really wanted to give 5 stars, but just like another reviewer said, the white pulls undeniably grey (which is different than the stock photo) which is what we were trying to avoid for this room, but they’re really pretty tiles with a natural stone look which is what i was looking for!.
