Very cozy and country feeling. Colors are deep and vibrant. I would say they are not room darkening. I paired them with a light beige sheer. You get 2 in a package with tie backs. Plus, it's machine washable – because no one has time to hand-wash bedding.

We really love the quilt and it goes very well with our cabin decor. However, the shams are stitched in such a way that it makes it difficult to get pillows into the shams. You can see in the picture the white pens. They are at the point where there is a stitch in from the sides. The stitch should be closer to the edge, and there is enough material for it to be closer to the edge. This would provide more room for inserting a pillow into the sham.
