This rug has the perfect colors for my room, and laid down fairly easily. I had trouble getting the rug pad I bought laid down under the bed without moving all of my furniture, so I didn't use it. It laid flat with the help of the weight of the bed. I would say that the only negative is that it is very thin. It easily lifts up when I hit the corner. Over all I'm really happy with it..
