Works exceptionally well. Big improvement over the i7 model. Initial mapping of the house was only 30 minutes. The app is very easy to set up with room dividers and labels. The 3D map mode is especially nice. After an initial run, the map updated with furniture like beds, dining table and chairs filled in. The Roomba Max 705, maneuvers easily around furniture, does a very good job vacuuming, returns to base to empty and recharge during a job. This is my first stick vacuum, so I don't have anything to compare it to. I would give the suction 3 stars and the features 5 stars. I love the charging stand, I'm glad it doesn't have to go on the wall. It's also light and gets into corners easily. Used the mop method for the 1st time. It does a pretty good job. Not like a hand mop but it does clean up sticky spills and picks up dirt left behind but the vacuum. I love the standing dustpan as it is very easy to sweep into it. I also love the combs on the dustpan especially when trying to clean pet hair off of the bristles. I finally broke down and invested in a better vacuum. This thing is amazing! Mostly hard flooring and its highest setting picks up everything- doesn’t blow it around. Lower settings handle even my flat washable rugs and don’t suck them up. The real test? I accidentally sucked up a metal door stopper that had broken and I immediately stopped the machine and took it apart to find the piece. Found it…in the bag. This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner.
