The daybed is perfect for a multi-functional room or any guest space that requires some flexibility. This bed is perfect for youth, teens or adults. It works well where you need some space most of the time but also need flexibility for guests. The bed can remain extended if preferred. The trundle can be pulled out and in with the wheels and hydraulic system. Comes with slats kit so box spring is not required.

This bed is cute. It does everything that we need to do. It was simple to put together. It’s got a simple look to it. My only concern is that it advertises an 8 inch mattress. It is definitely not able to fit an 8 inch mattress. We ended up buying 6 inch mattresses and my husband had to build extended legs for it to come off the ground enough to be able to slide the bottom in and out even still I’m not able to slide the bottom in and out. I have to wait for my husband to do it for me. I would recommend going with a five or a 4 inch mattress unless you don’t mind possibly not being able to slide out the bottom. The bed looks great (as pictured) and is very sturdy (as my toddler and her friends constantly jump on it). I bought a 7 inch mattress for the trundle and it fits perfectly. I bought a 12 inch mattress for the top and it also fits, but a 10 inch might have been better.
