It's a nice cabinet and heavy, but not solid oak as we had thought. It's an oak veneer and not all oak veneer in some spots so if you get unfinished staining doesn't work very well, so we had to paint ours. Tv floor stand mount will work for the purpose but not something I would want for daily use as it is crooked and that would make me crazy. It was very easy to put together with more than enough parts and options for different set ups and tvs. One other thing it doesn’t tell you is if your tv doesn’t match (which mine did) you may have to purchase an attachment.
