We ordered this tv stand in the brown color which has a slight taupe modern hue in the brown. It was the perfect size for a kitchen alcove that we had have and we desperately needed kitchen storage. We have looked everywhere for a low piece that wouldn’t block the windows and has deep storage to declutter our small kitchen space. The assembly took me about two hours then my husband jumped in the next day to adjust the doors. Note that if you decide not to use the shelves rest them on the floor so the doors don’t invert when they close. They have adjustable soft close hinges and each piece has one removable, adjustable shelf. The box is about 7ft long and weighs 97 pounds so keep that in mind. It would be very helpful to have a person with you to assemble this because the boards are long and heavy and you had to hold them in place while putting screws in.the back panel comes with all of the screws but only 6 are predrilled. You don’t absolutely have to use the rest if you don’t want to. It’s pretty sturdy and definitely holds a lot of stuff so if you need low profile storage this may be for you.. Andrea. Quality construction and well built. The drawers are actually drop down doors and there is only 3 on the shorter version that I purchased not 4 as stated in description. I’m actually liking the drop down doors better than drawers as it maximizing space inside a small compartment and the door hinges and soft close hardware are quality upgrades. Fully assembled was exactly that … open the box and hang the unit. Well packaged with plenty of protection from the rigors of shipping … and they got it out for delivery in very short order. Our TV cabinet arrived quickly and was packaged very securely. It comes in two boxes and it is very heavy, so you might need two people to carry it in. The instructions were good and all the pieces were there, which isn't always the case, so very happy with that. It is not an easy assembly, but there are moving parts and a lot of smaller pieces, so that's not a surprise. At one point we needed two people to stabilize a section while tightening some screws, but for the most part, it's a one person job taking maybe 3-4 hours if you're not experienced. The look is nice. We got the light oak color and it's a little lighter than I expected, but looks good. The most important part is that it works perfectly. We haven't installed the TV yet, but the remote works and it slides up and down effortlessly. The only slight minus is that the remote has no instructions or directions. This is a beautiful tv stand. It arrived fully assembled (minus the feet, simple toolless install). The only issue was the damage it suffered in transit. Both side panels had long cracks running vertically, one back corner had a chunk of wood missing, and the other back corner has a chunk of wood sticking out. Wayfair CS said they’re shipping replacement parts but I’m mildly concerned that the right parts were sent given that there are no part numbers physically on any of them nor in the instructions. We’ll see if everything turns out ok, but assembly will be required on my part now. Be warned. Packing material is not as robust as it should be for a heavy solid wood piece of furniture.. Daniel.
