I was not sure whether it would work for my cats or not so it was good enough size and price for me to give it a try. I needed one with open bottom because my cats eat our grass. For that reason, I searched and searched until I found this one. the bottom slats are movable with this one. It works for us. It also looks pretty cute and leaving it on our front yard is not an eye sore. It is not hard to put together but you need to pay attention to put the right pieces in right places. It took me a few hours. It is light weight so it can be easily moved around by myself. My cats like to be in the cage for an hour or two. My grandkids are spoiled This play set is fantastic! Based on the other reviews, I was worried about the size but it is perfect!
