This is a great Air Conditioning unit! It came assembled and with all the pieces needed to run outside. We have it set up on a sun porch and love how fast it cools the space. This particular air conditioner was bought for the purpose of cooling a 300 square foot room. We have no window for the exhaust hose to be used which was fine with us. We were told that being a portable air conditioner, the hose didn't have to be used. After running the conditioner for more than 4 hours our room didn't cool off because the heat coming out the back of the conditioner through the exhaust connection was too much heat, thus the conditioner couldn't cool the room at all.
