Very nice hood for the price. Gives off a good amount of light but is a little loud at highest fan setting. We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. Love the look and all the accessories that are included in this sink. The quality is good. My only complaint is the fall, or slope of the sink from the left side to the drain is very low. Water drains fine, but if you plan on installing a food disposal, you will need to push any food debris down to the right side. If you use the included rack in the bottom of the sink, that makes it a bit tougher to do, so plan on a powerful faucet sprayer to assist you. The unit itself is nice. A couple of issues is that the description is incorrect. The company confirmed that this unit is NOT 700 CFM but 400. After multiple attempts and communications between Wayfair and the company we decided to keep the unit. So far is working great. Keep in mind that this is not a fingerprint free stainless steel so during the installation it might be a good idea to wear gloves.
