Love the whirlpool. Didn’t think the light in the tub was important but I do enjoy it. Just read the spec sheet before you buy, it needs two gfi to run the light and whirlpool motor. Luxury shower surrounds for the DIY enthusiast in pre-cut kits for common shower wall sizes. These panels are lightweight, easy to carry, cut and fabricate. Cutting can be done with a skilled saw, angle grinder, jigsaw, etc. To fabricate you can use a Dremel tool, miter, etc. We suggest using Locktite PowerGrab Ultimate adhesive or Boss 125 adhesive to adhere panels to the walls but compatibility to the other substrates might need testing. We suggest using 100% clear silicone to glue the trim to the panels. We suggest applying the adhesive to the panel, applying circle blobs of caulking about 6”-8” apart throughout the sheet. We also suggest applying 100% silicone, about a ¼” continuous bead around the panel's outside edges to ensure a good edge seal and prevent moisture or debris from getting behind the panel.

Bought as a replacement tub for remodel, not a new build space. Actual tub is 18 of inch bigger than dimensions listed and also in the product packaging!!! We had to rip out our drywall and trim down studs to fit it in our replacement tub space 60 inch standard. Tub install directions are thorough explains putting thinsetmortar under tub. Finish is shiny. We bought the drain from Kingston brass, as other ones will not fit under it correctly we found. Can’t wait to have a bath!
