I was surprised that this pen was so large. I have little wiener dogs that like to be outside with me while I’m there. I got one of the largest pens which I could make a large rectangle shaped pen. It came in 2 boxes so that they would have lots of room. The backyard is completely fenced so I wanted the rectangular for the front. One box is plenty and I can use the 2nd set of panels for the other side of the yard. The panels seem sturdy and high enough for these smaller dogs. The only thing I have some concern with are the latches on the gates. They are quite small and I hope they are strong enough to hold the doors shut. There are 2 latches on each door.. Patty. US. The Outdoor Dog Kennel is fantastic. This is a two-person project. You can put it together by yourself, as that is what I did. However, it takes 2 to 3 times longer to put together by yourself and at times it is very hard to maneuver the enclosure by yourself. The dog kennel is big enough for two large dogs and still leaves plenty of room for them to play with each other, and run around. There are two draw backs for me. The first is that the gate/door is hard to open, when you unlatch the top latch, and then go to unlatch the bottom latch, then the top latch will close again. Therefore, you will need to open the top and bottom together. Second, the gate/door does not stay open. I would like the dogs to be able to go into the enclosure for shade while I am at work, but since the door cannot stay open they would not be able to get back out.
