I have a very senior litty girl who is losing function in her back legs, so she really can't jump. Ordered this for her and she loves it. I've seen her scoot up and down the stairs with confidence. It was easy to put together (pay attention to the directions, you Must build it the way they suggest or you'll have to take it apart and start over). The only complaint I have is that the bed is not balanced and the first time she jumped in it it fell off the back. The picture is of my biggest cat, Freyja, (who also happens to be my youngest at only about 9 months old) who is already about 16” tall from floor to top of head when sitting, and weighs about 15 lbs, and as you can see, even though she hangs out of both entrances, she even fits in the little cubby part and loves going in there.
