The dimensions of this desk are perfect for what I needed. Coming from a typical 24" deep desk, I felt cramped trying to use an ultrawide curved monitor because of how much room the stand takes up, so this is a huge improvement. Assembly took multiple hours, but was enjoyable. Everything is labeled and the instructions make sure to point out potential pitfalls. All of the steps are identical for the left and right configurations all the way up to the last few steps, so that was nice to experiment and see which way I wanted it before committing. My only complaint would be with the black parts of engineered wood. They seem particularly susceptible to damage at the corners, more so than even other engineered wood products I've had in the past. Makes me feel like I have to be extra careful around it or the laminate layer will start peeling off the front edge of the desk. UPDATE: I actually haven't had any problems with laminate peeling, so I upped my review to 5 stars! Side note: I ended up buying this model with the included file cabinet for a few bucks more because the similar model without it was out of stock in the color I wanted.. Michael. USA. It's a great desk! It's exactly as described - everything fits together perfectly and it's very sturdy which is what I was hoping for. No issues with delivery, it got here sooner than expected. The assembly instructions recommend 2 people but I managed to do it on my own in probably about 3 hours (with several interruptions). Only issue I had with assembly is that at one point it is possible to lose a screw within the hollow metal leg if you're not extremely careful. I also managed to drop the allen wrench down that same hole while trying to fish the screw out - took me probably about 15 minutes to completely remove the leg (thankfully I have an extra set of allen wrenches), get the screw & wrench out, and then reassemble that portion of the desk. But other than that I was able to put it all together by myself - though when it comes time to flip the desk (you build it starting upside down) you may need an extra person depending on your strength..
