The shower walls are 1/4 inch thick material, very solid, a little heavy when you have to carry them up stairs but worth the effort. The panels are easy to cut with conventional saw blades and drills. They went up without any issues and look fantastic. I will use them again. Hard to write a review when I didnt receive any tubes of adhesive and missing one trim kit piece for top extension. Told no parts available. Would have to return item and reorder. Aside from shipping issues these tiles are great. They are strong and forgiving of less than desirable walls. Watch the videos and do exactly as they say and installation with be quick and smooth. I used these for my bathtub surround and being 68 doing it alone I was able to do it all myself. I did it in two days mostly because I was hesitant about doing it around the water lines. my plumbing hadn't been touched since at least the 50s and had longer bigger pipes than today. Cutting and drilling out the holes was never a problem. I will say though using a utility knife for anything other than trimming edges is difficult. Luckily I had a small table saw that worked great.
